CosmeticIndustry.com was conceived and developed by Marlene Eskin, who researches the cosmetic industry and publishes reports on sales, activity and trends in the U.S.

Ms.Eskin has advised and assisted domestic and multinational companies in marketing strategy, product positioning, concept planning and trend recognition. Companies that are, or have been, her clients include Lancôme, L'Oreal, Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, Clarins, Thierry Mugler, Marbert GmbH, Procter & Gamble, Yves Rocher, Chanel and Estee Lauder. She also advises multinational consulting firms, venture capitalists and private equity firms.

Ms. Eskin's career began at Revlon and her corporate background includes Elizabeth Arden where she was headquartered in London as Director of Marketing for the European Area.

She has served on Procter & Gamble's Skin Care Advisory Board, and also introduced a cosmetic marketing course at Parsons School of Design. She has appeared on industry panels and seminars.
